The live-action adaptation of Walt Disney’s 1950 animated film, Cinderella, made a splash at the box office when it was released in 2015, grossing over $540 million worldwide, according to Box Office Mojo. In her breakout role, Lily James stars as Cinderella alongside a star-studded cast.

The plot follows Cinderella, an orphan who is mistreated by her wicked stepmother, Lady Tremaine (Cate Blanchett), and stepsisters, Anastasia (Holliday Grainger) and Drisella (Sophie McShera). With the help of her Fairy Godmother (Helena Bonham Carter), she attends the royal ball and falls in love with the prince. But when the magic wears off, she leaves her iconic glass slipper behind, leading the prince on a quest to find her.
